New Hosting Company

I have switched my server/hosting company to Hosting Zoom and they seem to be fantastic so far. Helpful and professional. I'm very pleased. Hosting Matters has been civil since I've switched - I've had to ask them some questions that had to do with the switching and I didn't think they would reply but they did and it wasn't mean. Wonders never cease. I also have come across a wonderful other hosting company - purely by mistake - one of my clients uses Spring Hosting and I thought it was Springs Hosting. I emailed them with some questions and they went way above and beyond what was asked. Extremely helpful and nice. I highly suggest their company. Fanastic. So I'm hoping now I won't have any problems.

Bad, Bad, Hosting Company

And something funny, Hosting Matters' logo/motto is "Superior Service, Sensible Price." What a load of dog doo. It was great when it was RTS Hosting but Jennifer sold it to Hosting Matters. I miss her. She was fantastic. Even though she had very young twins she was always at her computer and was SO nice to me when I had questions. Too bad she sold it - I would have been a customer forever.

Changing Hosting Companies

I am currently going to change my hosting company from Hosting Matters to someone else because the customer service I (and two of my clients) have received is TERRIBLE! I and my clients have received very snotty replies from their customer service employees Stacy and Annette. I'm finally fed up.

This is a reply that I received to an email I sent about not receiving emails for days - I had absolutely none in my inbox and I was trying to explain to her that I was only over quota because I wasn't receiving my emails and they kept piling up, hence, going over my quota.

Yes, I do actually understand. As stated, your email box is set to a 10MB quota, yet you have 18MB of mail in that box, so it is obviously over quota. As I said, you can CHANGE THAT at any time through your own control panel, under the mail section. But since there's some issue with doing that, I have changed it for you.-- Regards,StacyHosting Matters, Inc.http://www.hostingmatters.com/

What a bitch, huh? So those of you who are signed up with them and would like to change, you're not alone.

This is not the first time I've had snotty and ignorant replies to questions. And to boot, some were to my clients! I've given this company about 10 clients. I'm going to see if I can get everyone switched once I find a fantastic new hosting company.
